The founder of Bulgari is Sotirio Bulgari. The word Bulgari is for jewelry, synonymous with excellence and prestige. For over a century, they've been a leader in Italian style jewelry that draws inspiration from Greek and Roman art with a contemporary touch. Immediately after the Second World War is the turning point for Bulgari, where the company moves away from the dominant strict rules of the French goldsmith school to create its own unique style. They introduced fragrances in the early 1990's in the high-end perfume market and continued to launch new collections, from silk scarves and ties to leather goods and eyewear collections.
