  Bourjois
Monsieur Alexandre Napoleon Bourjois created the first powder blush, Pastel Joues, in 1863, when makeup was greasy, thick, uncomfortable, and damaging to the skin of stage actresses. The powder blush quickly became popular among his lady friends, then spread to other women. Bourjois is one of the oldest French cosmetics companies still in business. Their brand focuses on quality, color and whimsy. Even their packaging matches the colors inside.
