Founder Mathew Andis began working on a model clipper back in 1921. That model withstood every performance test given leading him to begin selling his product door to door and even in barbershops. His new clipper design was a hit amongst the barbers who had yet to see such a small and fast clipper. For over 77 years Andis has been delivering top of the line clippers for the barber and beauty industry, including an expansion on his product by making quality clippers and trimmers for small animals including dogs, horse, cattle and sheep. Today Andis' products are sold all over the world and continue producing only the best quality products.
